Life History
The first instar larva hibernates in a silken shelter and resumes feeding in the spring until June. It feeds in silken tubes amongst roots and under rocks.

Range
This Holarctic species is found from the Yukon and British Columbia east to Manitoba and south to Wyoming. (Obraztsov 1962)
