(Obraztsov 1962) Identification The acutely-pointed forewing is shiny grey and varies from being unmarked to finely marked with darker grey. The hindwing is light grey. Life History The larva feeds in galleries amongst the roots of the host plants from May to June (Razowski 2002). Conservation Not of concern. Diet Info The larva feeds upon various species of grasses, mosses, and shrubs. (Razowski 2002) Range This Holarctic species is found from Alaska and British Columbia east to Newfoundland. (Obraztsov 1962)
