SeasonalityAdults can be found from mid-June to late August.
IdentificationAdults are rust brown and the forewings are frequently covered with golden hair, arranged to form alternate golden and brown bands (Ross, 1944). Male claspers have a broad base and the dorsal process is expanded dorsad and curved ventrad (Yamamoto & Wiggins, 1964).
