Common NameLeconte's Haploa SeasonalityMid to late July in the north, late June to mid July in the prairies. IdentificationThe extent of the black forewing markings is variable. Haploa confusa (Lyman), which occurs in eastern North America west to Saskatchewan, may eventually be found in Alberta. Life History No information available. Diet Info Larvae of this species have been observed on trembling aspen in the Ministik Lake area east of Edmonton. Range Primarily a species of eastern North America. Occurs as far west as Alberta.
