Adults of Cicindela tranquebarica kirbyi have the elytral markings broad with a brozy-green ground color. Adults of C. tranquebarica borealis can be recognized by a broken humeral lunule band or by the ends of the band narrowly joined in the middle.
Life History Adults overwinter. Conservation This species is widespread and very common in Alberta. Diet Info None available. Range The range of this species extends over most of United States and Canada. The subspecies Cicindela t. kirbyi is found in most of Alberta.
