SeasonalityAdults fly from early May to mid-August. IdentificationMale forewings are pale brownish-yellow with darker areas. Antennae are yellow, vertex pale reddish brown in males and yellow-brown in females and thorax is pale reddish brown to yellowish brown laterally. Legs are yellow with straw-coloured spurs. The distal article of the male clasper is large, robust and distally rounded with a mesal tooth (Nimmo, 1987).

Male forewings are pale brownish-yellow with darker areas. Antennae are yellow, vertex pale reddish brown in males and yellow-brown in females and thorax is pale reddish brown to yellowish brown laterally. Legs are yellow with straw-coloured spurs. Life History Annual(?) Unknown. Conservation Common. Diet Info Larvae are omnivorous. Range Found throughout the western Cordillera, from Mexico north to British Columbia and east to the plains of Saskatchewan. In Alberta, found in the prairies and the boreal forest.
