Dactylopius coccus dyed skeins. The label reads "From the listing by seller: These skeins have been dyed using crushed Cochineal Bugs. These beautiful little bugs are sustainably harvested in the Canary Islands. This set contains two 50 Gram skeins that are very close in shade. The large skeins are a deep purple/red and the small 20 Gram mini skien was dyed right before all the dye was exhausted from the dye bath resultign in a pretty pink. The yarn base is 75% wool with 25% Nylon. [They are not silk.]"
