Cushion cover made of tasar silk (Antheraea paphia). Label reads: "Cushion cover of 100% tasar silk (Antheraea paphia = A. mylitta) made in West Bengal. The reeled tasar silk is natural colored and the piece is handwoven. The kantha embroidery was all done by hand. There are insect motifs near each corner. The backside is cotton. Purchased in January 2019 by Richard S. Peigler from an internet seller in Kolkata (=Calcutta). Price paid: US$6.89"
