Embroidered silk roundel with dragon, goat, clouds, mountains, waves, and a scholar's rock. The goat represents the new beginnings of the New Year, and this badge may have been worn by a high-ranking member of the imperial family to wear during New Year celebrations. The scales of the dragon have been embroidered using gold metal-wrapped silk floss, which has been couched to the backing fabric, adding texture to the design.
