Embroidered doily on light weight cotton. Pattern features a large multi-coloured bouquet of roses that have been double cross stitched directly onto the cloth without using canvas. The image is centred on the cloth and fills a majority of the area.
Provenance
This piece was gifted to Andriy Nahachewsky by Professor Skrypka (relative of Tamara Bulat and Taras Filenko - musicologists: Lilea Wolanska) who was visiting guest lecturer from Ukraine in the late 1980s.
