Embroidered runner designed specifically to cover an Easter Basket. Created on a wide weave canvas-like cotton fabric, cross stitched with dark brown and beige threads. The pattern features a geometric band of motifs on either end and a cross with pussy willows in the center, flanked with the words: "ХРИСТОС ВОСКРЕС" [Christ is risen].
Provenance
This piece was originally purchased by Andriy Nahachewsky's mother from the St. Joseph's Senior's Home in Saskatoon, SK and gifted to Andriy, Kim, Lukash and Noah Nahachewsky. Was wrapped in tissue marked A. K. L. N.
