The curlika is a fipple flute with six fingerholes. Sound is produced when air is blown through a small slit in the top of the instrument. The flute is highly decorated with round designs, and the broader section in the middle of the flute is branded with the word "Sarajevo." The curlika flute comes mostly from Bosnia and Herzegovina.
