Handwoven huipil (woman's traditional tunic or blouse, of Maya origin) made of three panels of warp-faced brown cotton fabric. Bands of naturalistic plant and flower motifs formed by discontinuous decorative wefts in many colours in the shoulder and upper body area. Square neckline trimmed with black velvet; set-in neck yoke solidly embroidered with flowers in many colours.
