Handwoven brown cotton warp-faced huipil (woman's traditional tunic or blouse, of Maya origin) made of two panels. Warps feature red and white stripes; discontinuous supplementary silk wefts in purple, pink, blue, white, green, and yellow form bands with geometric patterns across the torso and shoulder areas. Round neckline with a centre front slit, bound with a red 'Alpine' style commercially-woven ribbon with blue and white flowers. This ribbon also forms a loop at the back of the neck.
