Handwoven white cotton warp-faced huipil (woman's traditional tunic or blouse, of Maya origin) made from two panels. Centre seam is machine sewn, sides remain open. Discontinuous supplementary wefts in lilac, magenta, red, light blue, dark blue, green, brown , orange and yellow form bands of diamonds and other geometric patterns across the torso area. Round neckline finished with closely stitched whip stitches in purple, which is stitched over in blue thread.
