Light olive green taffeta bodice; jewel neckline; Centre front closure with 11 fabric covered buttons of which 1 is missing; waistline darts; peplum has watch pocket at leftside; bodice has separate set of closure of 5 hooks and eyes inside; lining of unbleached linen; sleeves have eloborate cuffs decorated with piped and pleated ruffle. Peplum has a long narrow V at center back flanked by two vents. Princess seaming at back decorated with two fabric-covered buttons at small of the back; piping and buttons in muted golden yellow. Machine sewn with extensive hand finishing. Part of peplum at right front is made of different fabric and lined with white cotton, suggesting a repair.
