Handwoven cotton huipil (woman's traditional tunic or blouse, of Maya origin) made of two panels. Extensively worked with discontinuous decorative wefts forming geometic patterned bands across the torso; naturalistic floral band along the shoulder area. Neckline formed by unsewn area of centre seam; edges of neck opening and arm holes bound with blue velvet. Vertical tuck sewn in shoulder area on both sides.
