Handwoven cotton huipil (woman's traditional tunic or blouse, of Maya origin) made from two panels. Shoulder and torso area are decorated with discontinous supplementary wefts in many colours forming geometric patterns in purple, magenta, orange, red, blue, green and yellow. Round neckline finished with red thread worked over. Centre front: ties of twisted red cord. Sides are left open. Woven label of retailer inside neckline at centre back.
