Child's dress of violet and pink striped taffeta in princess style, emphasized with two rows of Van Dyked lace trim along the princess seams; narrow stand-up collar trimmed with same machine made lace; central front panel shirred in vertical folds and decorated with bow of pink grosgrain ribbon, no shirring below the bow, and panel forms a pouch-like fold, covering the top of the rows of boxpleats. long sleeves have puffed caps and taper to a snug fit around the wrist, with lace trim. Centre back closing with 12 (missing) buttons. Lined with silesia, side pocket of lining fabric set inside right side seam.
