Round doily with a butterfly motif worked in eyelet embroidery. Buttonhole stitch was used to outline the wings, satin stitch markings on the wings, outline stitch throughout the body. Leaves and flowers worked in satin stitch; stems worked in outline stitch. Scalloped edge finished with closely spaced buttonhole stitches.
