Short end of needle lace edging, Point de Gaze de Bruxelles, with needle lace net ground and 'toile' made of closely space buttonhole stitches, decorative motifs include 'perles' and wheels; outlining element is a cordonnet worked over with widely spaced buttonhole stitches. General pattern features leaves on a meandering scroll, with an irregular edge formed by 'perles'. Machine-made footing along straight edge.
