short length of combination bobbin and needle lace; design is formed with bobbin lace cloth stitching on a ground of twisted buttonhole stitches in a slightly thicker yarn than that of the bobbin lace parts. Ten stitch gimp forms outlining element in some parts of the design, decorative elements are produced both in bobbin lace and needle lace. General pattern of floral scrolls with decorative elements, with leaves and petals forming scalloped edge. Fine 1 cm wide engrelure along straight edge.
