White cotton Irish crochet purse. Six-sided flower pattern with leaves and pinwheels. Large openwork flower, top left corner, openwork butterfly, lower right, on front side. On back side, raised round flowers,…
White cotton Irish crochet purse. Six-sided flower pattern with leaves and pinwheels. Large openwork flower, top left corner, openwork butterfly, lower right, on front side. On back side, raised round flowers, pinwheels and leaves, butterfly in lower right corner. Six petalled flowers and leaves for an opening for drawstring at top of purse. 4.5 cm crochet edging all around top. Drawstring is two 60 cm strings in double center right pattern. Group of three egg-shaped and stuffed ferns on ends with tube of fine double center right pull. Grapes of same design on sides of purse attached to main body of crochet. Connecting cord on left side seems to have broken, so lower two groups are tied together. Lined with peach silk.
