Collar, possibly of Honiton lace; the open element consists of bars made up of more than two threads or two threads twisted; the toile or closed element is in the linen stitch in long, free-form scrolling bands. The cordonnet is made of gimp thread which is heavier than the other threads used along one side of the band. The modes or decorative element are wheat ears and bird motifs.
