Handwoven cotton huipil (woman's traditional tunic or blouse, of Maya origin) made of three panels. Warp-faced plain weave. Upper torso area decorated with geometric motifs in discontinuous supplementary wefts in red, green, purple, yellow and orange. Round neckline edged with black satin with Van Dyked points, worked over with chain stitch embroidery .
