Huipil (woman's traditional tunic or blouse, of Maya origin) made of one handwoven panel, sewn with the warps across the body. White with red pinstripes along the bottom part of the huipil, red with yellow at the top part. Discontinuous supplementary wefts form geometric designs in various colours. Neck opening is fashioned leaving parts of the selvedges unsewn, as is one armhole; the other is cut in the fabric. Neck edge is finished with yellow and green embroidery; armhole edges with red and blue embroidery.
