Handwoven cotton huipil (woman's traditional tunic or blouse, of Maya origin) in warp-faced plain weave. Birds embroidered in multicoloured threads on upper area of torso in front and back. Diamonds and chevrons woven with multicoloured discontinuous supplementary wefts in shoulder area. Round neckline is machine stitched.
