Huipil (woman's traditional tunic or blouse, of Maya origin) made from three panels of hand-woven warp-faced cotton fabric. Warp of side panels is red with white, yellow and green pin stripes; warp of centre panel is red with white stripes. Torso area decorated with bands of multicoloured checks, and zigzags formed by discontinuous supplementary wefts. Square neckline in neck yoke with a small slit in front in white cotton neck yoke. Cotton string ties at corners of slit.
