12-page staple-bound programme booklet, published by the Government of Alberta as a souvenir from the visit of King George VI and Queen Elizabeth to Edmonton in 1939. Contains information among others on the significance of the royal visit, the lyrics of the anthem, a short geneology of the King, the programme for the afternoon and eveing of June 2, 1939; Pages are unnumbered, illustrated with black and white photographs of the King and Queen and their two small daughters; Separate map showing the route of the royal progress through Edmonton on June 2, 1929, and the location of bleachers, folded in the back of the booklet. Booklet has cover of glasine paper with spiderweb design.
