One hundred fifty six page bound hard-cover booklet :"Home Nursing and Hygiene" by J. Wallace Anderson, M.G. and George H. Edinton, M.D., 6th printing, published by the St. Andrew's Ambulance Association in Glasgow, Scotland in 1912. Contains 10 chapters on the needs of a proper sick-room, basic care of a patient, instructions on the treatment of bed-sores, administration of prescribed medication, poultices, enemata, various illnesses with fever, and without fever, food and beverages for patients, personal health and clothing of the nurse, and bandaging. Index of chapter contents at the front of the booklet, and alphabetized index at the back. Last 7 pages contains illustrated advertisements for emergency and medical supplies.
