Black velvet dress with off-white lace around upper edge of sleeve cuffs and the peter pan collar. Centre front button closure from neckline to hemline; 17 fabric-covered buttons. Princess seaming in bodice. CF and CB bodice sections flare out to form skirt panels. Between CF and CB panels the skirt is sewn to the bodice at waistline seam. Twelve-gore skirt, including panels. Worn by donor's daughter, Donna. Purchased at Woodwards.
