Square of fabric sewn together on two sides to form a pocket; other two sides are turned and stitched. Embroidery worked on front from corner to corner; "Hot Dish Holders" worked in outline stitch using green thread, hanging flowers and leaf motifs worked in pink french knots and green satin stitch and outline stitch centred below the words. Edges of opening worked in blanket stitch using green thread. Loop of fabric sewn to upper corner with french knots in pink and green thread.
