White felted fabric vest trimmed with black velvet. Embroidered on front and neck edges with white perle twist cotton thread in a wheat pattern on black velvet. Chain stitch, buttonhole stitch, and faggoting worked on the felted fabric. Pointed edge in graduated satin stitch with chain stitched wheat ears. Small circles of satin stitch at neck closure and CB. Piece joined at back by hand overcasting.
