Floor-length empire gown of plain and open weave cotton fabric with magenta-red on white print. Fine pattern printed in warp-wise stripes on plain weave only; lowered square neckline; two fine drawstrings fasten at CB neckline; CB closure with three home-made buttons (white fabric or thread over ring base); bust darts on either side of CF down to waist band; long narrow sleeves; separately made cuffs fit over sleeves; white ruffles on cuffs and 3 ruffles along bottom of hem; fine cording located inside the edge of ruffles; narrow (2.5 cm) waistband.
