Bodice of cream-coloured silk taffeta with round neckline, CB closing with 4 snaps on outer bodice and 7 hooks and eyes on inner bodice; long set-in sleeves with gathers at the shoulder; neck yoke and sllleve caps are machine stitched in many rows of burgundy thread. Series of long and short pointed tabs sewn into yoke seam covered with red silk and top-stitched with white thread and a grey metallic seed bead tacked in the point; 5 rows of machine stitching in burgundy thread stitched into a V in front and accross at the back and another row of pointed tabs similar to the row above; cuffs are decorated with tabs; woven label at the hem of CB: Siegel Cooper, New York.
