Apricot-coloured cotton bodice. High collar insert of silk chiffon. Yoke and tops of sleeves appliqueed with lace. Front closure of 16 alternating hooks and eyes, and 7 snaps. 4 rows of pintucks ending in small pouch at waist. Short sleeve flounce with false undersleeve of three rows of apricot cotton, alternating with silk chiffon. Lined in ivory silk, boned with celluloid. Sweatguards of cotton jersey. Enclosed with dress are remnants of silk chiffon from yoke and sleeve areas.
