Burgundy-red warp faced plain weave medicine belt, worked on backstrap loom. Reversible brown/white figures (complementary warp patterns) made by picking up some warps. Central narrow green stripe in design area is traditional. 3 stripes adjacent to central figured band are symbolic Taquile motifs. Designs are float weave structures using paired warps. Warp on one end forms braided fringe.
