Diamond shaped crazy quilt block with velvet, taffeta, satin and other silk patches. One cram satin patch is embroidered with a stag's head in outline stitches in burgundy silk thread, the other embroidered patch features a fan in light blue outline stitching with corded silk. all seams are enhanced with blanket stitching in several variations, fan-, cretan-, feather-, and herringbone stitching in various coloured silk threads. Two sides of the block are basted on thin light brown wool padding and cotton (or linen?) fabric.
