Diamond shaped crazy quilt block with velvet and other silk patches. Center patch has a small flower bouquet painted on in cream, pink, and green on deep brown velvet. Other patch made from an 8.5 wide silk ribbon, with green novelty weave along the edges, borders painted patch: seam of the ribbon is enhanced with a variationof the button hole or blacket stitch in pink, yellow and light green silks. Plain blanket stitching along edge of blue velvet patch in one point. Other patches are basted with white cotton thread on thin light brown woolen wadding and grey linen or cotton base.
