About 37 miles northeast of Fort McMurray: 4 miles north of Muskeg Mountain, North of the Clearwater River. Ombrotrophic to extremely poor fen with highly patterned relief. Sphagnum jensenii, S. angustifolium and S. fuscum dominants; Carex oligosperma, Eriophorum angustifolium, Chamaedaphne calyculata, Kalmia polifolia, and Andromedia polifolia abundant. Surrounding area of Pinus banksiana, Picea mariana and Populus tremuloides.
