Gambo, southeast of Gander. Concentric, raised bog surrounded by a lagg fen. Lagg fen: poor fen dominated by Sphagnum teres, S. squarrosum, S. imbricatum, Carex echinata, C. canescens, C. paupercula, Alnus rugosa, and Drepanocladus exannulatus, with pools of Calliergon giganteum and Eriophorum angustifolium; S. nemoreum in transition to bog, dominated by Sphagnum fuscum, S. pulchrum, S. rubellum, S. cuspidatum, S. flavocomans, Gaylussacia dumosa and Chamaedaphne calyculata.
