Cook Co.: Northwest shore of Lake Superior, 1.6 miles north of Kodance Creek and about 11 miles north of Grand Marais. Beach pool with Scorpidium scorpioides, Sphagnum teres, S. warnstorfii, S. contortum, Carex vesicaria, and C. limosa. Drepanocladus revolvens common in rich fen pools. Picea mariana and Larix laricina common farther inland. Pools located between shingle beaches and sandy dunes farther inland.
