Elk Island National Park. 37 Km east of Edmonton on Hwy 16. Sedge meadow (site 35) consisting of Carex aquatilis, C. atherodes, C. rostrata. Surface water has a pH of 6.8 and depth of about 5 cm. Additional species…
Elk Island National Park. 37 Km east of Edmonton on Hwy 16. Sedge meadow (site 35) consisting of Carex aquatilis, C. atherodes, C. rostrata. Surface water has a pH of 6.8 and depth of about 5 cm. Additional species found were Polygonum amphibium, Salix discolor, S. petiolaris, Sium suave, Petasites satittatus, Glyceria grandis, Calamagrostis canadensis, and Lemna minor. One byophyte, Depanocladus polycarpus was found.
