Nenana vicinity. Bluff just to north of gravel pit on the west side of the road at mp. 260.1 along the Parks highway (Route 3) or ca. 15 km south of Nenana. Dry southerly slope surrounded by poplar forest. Pasqueflower, bearberry, rosa, shepherdia, silene, galium, aster, astragalus, artemisia, erigeron, poplar, selaginella, grasses. Near top of bluff in xeric soil.
