This print is typical of Takeshi Saito who often titles his pieces Memory. The viewer is allowed just a glimpse into a vision that seems both bizarre and familiar. Takeshi uses warm tones in his prints and a technique of layering Aquatint onto 4 or 5 plates to add texture and weight. Takeshi also commonly uses a tie on the corner of his prints to destroy symmetry and encourage the viewer to ponder the formal qualities and representations in the image.
