Located on North Campus, Kubos sits atop a small garden and water stream in the Education Building courtyard. A play on the words “kudos” and “cube” the work is meant to complement the surrounding architectural forms.
Given the playful and abstracted nature of the sculpture, Kubos was once covered with painted plywood that resembled a giant Rubik’s cube in the early 1980s.
